Melissa Seidl has been teaching English for nearly 15 years in the Archdiocese of Hartford schools. Throughout her career, she has taught a wide range of subjects at the middle school level, including Literature, Language Arts, Science, Computer Science, and Social Studies. She has also taught 4th and 5th grade, bringing a versatile and well-rounded approach to education.

Melissa holds a Master’s degree in School Counseling and is recognized as a Bullying Prevention Specialist by the American School Counselor Association. She is deeply committed to educating students about bullying and working to eliminate it from school communities.

Beyond the classroom, Melissa has served as an advisor for music ministry, robotics, National Junior Honor Society, and drama club. She is currently the stage manager at a children’s theatre, where she has also taught musical theatre, playwriting, stage management, vocal performance, and audition preparation.

A passionate advocate for youth and music ministry, Melissa brings over 20 years of experience in contemporary music ministry. She has led worship bands as well as traditional and folk choirs, blending musical styles to create meaningful worship experiences.

Additionally, Melissa has taught Cricut and sewing classes at Joann Fabrics, combining creativity and craftsmanship in fun, hands-on ways.

Tutoring: $45 for 45 minute sessions. (Bundling options available for more than one session per week.)
